Every evening in Mexico they had a kids show at 8:00 and then a more adult oriented one at 9:30. This was my favorite part of the day. Getting dressed up and going to dinner all together and then the shows. It was such a fun way to spend the evening. I even tried to dress our family in "themes" some of the nights (another thing I LOVE to do that my family does NOT really enjoy. LOL
The kids shows were always an interactive thing for the kids. A game, a contest, a fashion show . . . every night was different but the kids always enjoyed it. Kids from all over the world, speaking all different languages . . . it was quite the cultural experience.
Some nights they played BINGO between the shows. This night Andrew won the Bingo game and got on stage.
This night we ate in their Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you. A favorite of everyone except that it was quite hot . . . no AC in this restaurant.
Megan and Lakyn happened to own the same dress so we had them wear it the same night. Too cute.
Pirate show night . . . give the kids all swords made of pool noodles.
Dad winning Bingo . . .
Some nights we stayed for the adult show which was really late. A Magician, Broadway, the history of Mexico . . . . these were some of the ones we stayed for and let the kids stay for. I believe this was Andrew and Daniel's opinion of the Broadway show . .. LOL
Dinner at the Mexican restaurant on the beach.
Fashion show night was the girls favorite . . . they got to dress up and were taught how to walk down a real runway and be princesses . . . so fun.
On this night Lakyn won the kids game, she was so proud of herself. It was a "hot potato" style game and she memorized the spot that the music ALWAYS stopped at. I know that wasn't the way you were supposed to win the game (it's a luck of the draw game) but considering how hard it is for Lakyn to memorize anything . . I was quite impressed by her ability to figure this out.
On this night the photographer at the place found Gavin . . . they asked him to model for the camera . . . he was a little too good at it for my liking. If the pictures didn't cost an arm and a leg we would have bought some, they were adorable.
Don't think the kids had all the fun, I think each of the adults was called on stage to play at least one game the time we were there . . . some of us several times. Ask Tim about dancing sometime. LOL . . . here, my sister Marisa is winning a game and Mom, Shannon, Stephanie and Tim are all together in the next one.
Marisa loves the Mexican people . . . she's very drawn to them. Here, in the middle of a show the singer is singing to her and giving her a rose. Then she and one of the entertainers pose.
Il Diva mens singing group. My second favorite show. (Tim and the kids skipped this one)
Kids favorite show was the night they had a pinata (Mexican culture night) A pinata hanging with a real guy strapped to the rafters to pull it up from their reach . . . very fun. Getting to try all the Mexican candy that fell from it was fun too . . . for the kids AND the adults.
Our dinner was either a restaurant on site or a buffet on site at 6:00 or 6:30 and then these shows right there by our rooms so this filled our evenings each day. I LOVED all of us being together and seeing who would get called on stage and what the shows would be. This is certainly a unique aspect of an all inclusive resort . The food and entertainment provided at no extra cost.
